Stucco is a very common exterior for homes these days, and for good reason it last for a very long time and looks great if done right. If your interested in matching your shed to your home and your not sure what stucco finish you have on it i gave examples of the most common examples. Sanded, skip, and silica are all good finishes though silica is better looking in my opinion. Is very simple and clean looking but might be a little more pricey to have done and could be challenging to do your self. This backdoor shed is so awesome and well crafted. It has sheet metal roofing that will last forever. Stained exterior with a great overhang. The double paned windows and glass paned door make it such a compliment to any home. Obviously this is a little more than the average home owner is willing to get into, but is a great example of customizing your shed to your exact wants and needs. I wouldn’t mind having this shed in my backyard but realistically my needs are met by a shed a little more humble. Everyone knows kids love to have a cool little fort they can call there own. They are extremely pricey to buy like there a complicated engineered structure, well there not. They consist of simple wood framing and I don’t know how they get away with charging so much. I built one on my sisters property for my nephews better than most you can buy and i don’t have much building experience. It cost half the price and looks awesome. The plans I used to build it were ridiculously simple to follow (even for me). It’s certainly worth your time to check these plans out if your considering getting a clubhouse for your kids.

Everyone knows it is critical too keep your firewood dry. I grew extremely tired of a big pile of firewood with a big ugly blue tarp on it in my yard. I knew i had to build a firewood storage shed. I called around to a few contractors and found that it was a little pricey to have them come out and build one for me. I knew it couldn’t be that difficult to build storage for my fire wood but i wasn’t sure i wanted to tackle the project myself until I heard the cost. My garage had become over cluttered and hard to keep organized. Im the type of guy that cant work efficiently if things aren’t in decent order. I use my grage for many other things other than tools so i made the choice to get a tool shed to separate every thing.

I’ve got a roof over my head to protect me from the elements. So I decided to protect my “four legged” family member, too, with this easy-to-build dog house. It’ll give her shade on hot days and shelter on cold ones. And I plan on decorating it to suit her awesome personality!

This basic plan is designed for larger dogs, but it could have easily been adjusted to fit a smaller or medium sized dog too.

I made mine from inexpensive construction materials - including recycled cedar boards from an old deck, plywood, and pine framing lumber. The whole thing cost less than $100. (A similar store bought dog house could easily go for $400+.)

I looked around for a while to find some inexpensive plans to build a nice one. I eventually found this awesome site that offers dog house plans and many other home project plans. I ended up getting some other cool ideas that could improve my place.

This is an awesome gazebo that a friend of mine took a picture of for me after hearing my wife and I talking about wanting one on our property. We have a large pond that would be the perfect setting for a brick walkway leading up to a gazebo at the edge of it. A perfect place to read and relax on nice days, not to mention the fact that it would raised our property value.

I’m interested in building a gazebo myself because i enjoy the satisfaction of the finish product. Knowing I’m responsible for building something that will bee there for many years to come.

The only drawback is that I’m not an experienced carpenter and can’t design gazebo plans on my own. The only thing I’ve built was a garden/tool shed. I wanted to make sure it was nice and complimented the house so i got some help with that. I had no idea how to build a shed. Luckily I was able to find a web site that offered many different types of shed plans and explained it thoroughly. I have a feeling a gazebo is a good choice for my next challenge in carpentry but we’ll see.

Yes, a storage shed - one that serves a multitude of purposes for your every need.

It’s a great idea for many people. As a way of gaining storage space, it’s much easier than tacking a new room onto the house. A sturdy, reasonably attractive shed may even raise the property value of the home it compliments. It can help you make enough room in your garage for what it was intended, your car. An entry level builder can complete the project in a few days working solo. And if designed properly, a backyard shed can even serve as a potting shed, home office or secret clubhouse. Besides, conveniently storing your gardening supplies so near to where they’re used will make outdoor work less of a chore.

Buying and assembling a prefabricated storage shed is an option, but the prefab structures out of a kit tend to be boring in appearance and not very durable. Constructing your own provides way more options.

Unlike myself, being somewhat inexperienced and not knowing how to build a shed completely on my own, the seasoned builder can design there own sheds. That can turn out to be somewhat complicated unless you’re familiar with the designing of structures and estimating material needs.
